The Cycle of Causes and Effects
When eyes see forms, ears hear sounds, noses smell odors, tongues taste flavors,
bodies feel touches, and minds think; emotion will form on one’s mind. If one does not monitor his mind, the stream of emotion will flow to be stored in the minor brain (hypothalamus) and the main brain, causing stresses, worries, migraine, headache, insomnia, and heart diseases.
Many other streams will continue to consume one’s mind; so it can never be free.
When one monitors his mind, and sees its relentless rise and fall, notices the feelings at the center of the chest, near xiphoid; one will feel the stream penetrates toward the back, and continues on to the nape, the minor brain and the main brain. The stream of cleansed soul will leave through the exit of the stream, between one’s eyebrows. As one monitors his mind, watching its rise and fall, his thoughts, stresses and worries will be quenched, his brain becomes clear, his mind cleansed; wisdom then surfaces.
At the end of the day, all humans inevitably be old, ill, dead and depart from their beloved. Realizing this fact, Lord Buddha went out to seek measures to eliminate birth, aging, illnesses, and death. He discovered the origin of sufferings, which is the ignorance of the Four Noble Truths. The mind consumed by ignorance will generate desires that cause one to crave, struggle and cling on to earthly beings. The mind thus gets stuck in the circle of life, and endless sufferings.
To extinguish sufferings, one must let go of ignorance and cravings which are the causes of all sufferings. Only then, the mind will be free and independent because it does not cling to anything. putting his mind on what is called, “The Mind on the Eightfold Path,” And acquired the right outlook, thought, speech, action, livelihood, effort, mindfulness and concentration, setting all of the aforementioned on the right direction. Chakku or right outlook arises; leading to insight, wisdom, clear understanding, and enlightenment occurs, vivid and brilliant like a bright light shining through. Ignorance is quenched, sufferings is also quenched. The mind is free, for it does not cling on and thus free from all thoughts. He has since been called, “Arahanta Sammasambuddha,” For he was self-enlightened.
After attaining enlightenment, Lord Buddha started to share his Dhamma principles
consisting of precepts, concentration and insight, whereby the core pillar is the “right outlook.” Lord Buddha's Dhammachakra wheel has since rotated for the benefits and happiness of all divine and human beings. Everyone will be smart and capable to quench his sufferings when they arise, solve his life problems; then good and moral people will reemerge at mid Buddhist era. Everybody will find genuine happiness
based on Lord Buddha’s teachings. The Dhammachakra wheel will continue to rotate for the benefits and happiness of the public as it has been in the past, on to the present and forever and ever.
